A 2 player chess derivative type game where players roll dice and set up Fortifications to gain control of and dominate the battlefield. Players will be able to obtain Supplies to aid their endeavors as they both vie for the top.
Each player controls one of four Armies which each consist of 7 different pieces (each Army differs in type) that can be used for tactical thinking, critical math skills for younger children, and a simple-but-fun and straightforward gameplay.
Suitable for ages as low as 8+, and the game comes with:
14 polyhedral dice
10 colored six-sided dice
2 white six-sided dice
9 Supply sticks
sheet of felt
rule book
piece of merchandise
game map
Players take turns moving their Armies across the board and attacking each other and each other's Fortifications as they vie for last man standing status. Player polyhedral dice start on their highest numbers and are reduced through battle until they are wiped from the board. Fortifications include: Outposts, Bases, and Forts, each with differing ranges and providing different advantages/disadvantages. Supplies include: Lapis Slabs, Hemp Stacks, Blood Vials, Gold Ingots, and Lavender Sprigs.
Can be played on the provided game map, or on any chess/draught board. Complex enough for adults to lose themselves playing for hours while still simple enough to appeal to children. Makes a perfect gift for the board gamer friend/significant other in your life!
